I have been learning from the I Ching, a divination system that’s at least 3,000 years old, for a little over a decade and have found that this system's stories, imagery from nature, and wisdom are easily adapted to my spiritual practice and development.

I started using the I Ching as part of my personal spiritual practice in 2015. Around that time, I’d recently left the container of Christianity. I was still open to some of it being spiritually significant, but I just knew there was more depth to spirituality and wished to explore the whole. Also, around this time, I joined Swami Anand Nisarg’s Yi Fa Society, a curated spiritual practice system that blends Qi Gong, I Ching, meditation, and ritual practices for self-transformation. I attribute my ability to comprehend and use this system to Anand’s mentorship and the tremendous work that he put into his book, The Magician’s I Ching. From here, I have integrated a plethora of translations, but I’m convinced none would have been approachable to me if I hadn’t had this fortunate starting place on my journey.

Currently, I am working on putting the insights I’ve cultivated from my I Ching studies out into the world.

I have created an I Ching study deck with my own art and notes. I use this deck for teaching purposes where I design discussion sessions and share reflections with a local pagan circle.

I’ve done hundreds of I Ching oracle readings for myself and others in my circle of friends and spiritual community. Each reading comes with a conversation about your question and the results.

I've developed my own style of interpreting Plum Blossom Readings in order to inform The Work, or in other words the major spiritual work that an individual will encounter in this life. This method has been exceptionally fruitful in my own personal practice and I’ve shared this method with over a dozen others seeking spiritual guidance.

  • I calculate and prepare a 5-6 page document of notes describing your results

  • We go over the notes together in a meeting
